Museum of Developer Art
The Who, What, Why
Developers are often stereotyped as bookish homebodies with little artistic sensibility. In reality, they are creative craftsmen who express themselves using the language of code.
At Google's yearly developer conference, Google I/O, we sought to buck the stereotype by showcasing the marriage of technology and art. Partnering with curator, Alex Czetwertynski, we created the Museum of Developer Art.
For two years in a row, we hosted digital artists who used Google technologies to create immersive installations for a developer audience.
