The Who, What, Why

YouTube pulls in 1.8 billion users every month, making it the world's second largest platform second only to Facebook. On the platform, creators drive a huge amount of viewership. Top creator PewDiePie has 91 million subscribers alone, and the top 25 YouTubers generate more than three times as many views as traditional celebrities on YouTube.

As a way of deepening the relationship between creators and their fans even further, YouTube hosts FanFest concerts around the world. The YTFF live show drives increased awareness, increased revenue and a huge social media impact for creators, to inspire established and emerging creators to spend more time and effort creating content on YouTube. For the first time ever, we brought the brand to the LatAm market, hosting the first ever YouTube FanFest Brasil in Rio De Janeiro.

We executed across live, live stream, web, social, PR, and artist partnerships, hosting 750 fan attendees, 50 YouTube creators, and 10 artists native to the YouTube platform including Anitta, Nego do Borel, and Wesley Safadao.

The campaign resulted in 50k social mentions and 600m digital impressions.
