The Who, What, Why

Millions of people tune in every year to the livestream of Google's yearly developer conference, Google I/O. But those watching the livestream at home have a very different experience from those in person at Shoreline Amphitheater. For the second year in a row, we created an experience that brought the global I/O developer community into the amphitheater.

Utilizing the creativity of the global developer community to build an entire world together, we created the world's largest collaborative coloring book. People all over the world created doodles that we identified using machine learning, then dropped into an ever evolving world on the big screen at Shoreline Amphitheater. People could see the world grow in realtime with the creations of the community.

Activated across live, web, mobile, and social. Resulted in 50k simultaneous participants in 150 countries around the world.
